jumping out of planes, DRIED FRUIT,

dogs (yes, even small ones),


long car rides singing until my voice is raspy,....


experiencing new places as a traveler,

                not a tourist,


my water bottle,

an ungodly amount of matcha,


when I put up a campsite at the end of a long hike,


raising plants, bringing my people to new places, going with the flow….

Amanda Michelle has been creating art and documenting memories for 13 years now, and while many things have changed over those years - the legacy of her tangible, tailored, and intimate experience remains the same.

I’m based out of Austin, TX, but this camera in my hand has taken me all over this wild world, and it’s something I’m incredibly grateful for. I’ve been a photographer and filmmaker for the last 12 years, and have no plans on stopping any time soon. ;)


If I can take part in capturing even a tiny portion of your lives, that’s an incredible honor that I don’t take lightly. I understand and appreciate that moments are irreplaceable. 

I’m always pushing to find ways to recreate how it all felt.
